Hey everyone! There will not be a Deviant of the Week this week. I will resume selecting Deviants of the Week next Sunday, July 12th. I will also be adding a section for previous Deviants of the Week at that time, as requested by . I want to take the week to advertise my second contest of the year! After this week, all updates for the contest will be made on my writing account, . I do not have a subscription on that account, though, so it will be for updates and a list of participants and submissions only. I will post the winners here, on my main account.

Alright then, the details!

As you may have guessed, my most recent poll was to see which contest people would like to participate in. Two of the suggestions were pretty close on top, so I am going to open both options up, and will select winners from both. You are more than welcome to enter both contests!

Option #1: Draw my fursona, Panthera ( [link] ) with your fursona or OC, doing something mischievous!

Please keep in mind that this option should be the more complete of the two choices. Since you are drawing the characters in an act, as opposed to just a pose, a background will really boost your chances of winning. One of the things that I will be basing winners on is accuracy. The link above is Panthera's official reference; however, I have MANY pictures of her in my gallery, so feel free to flip through, or ask if you have any questions about her appearance. Any medium is fine, including photo-manipulation. However, please only submit your own work. No one else's lineart may be used, and any photos you use must be your own, or stock images. You must also provide links to your stock images.

Option #2: Draw a mate for Panthera, and draw them with some of their babies!

This option is much more open, and a background isn't necessary; however, it certainly can't hurt! You can have as many or few babies as you like, but obviously you have to have at least one. You can pair Panthera with any species, including drawing her and her mate in anthro form if that makes things easier. I don't have an anthro reference for her, so you can use your imagination, as long as you keep her basic markings and characteristics. If you would like to make Panthera's mate female, feel free; however you need to include a story of how they're child came to be (adoption is okay! XD )

The prizes for option one will be:

First Place: 3 Month DA Subscription
Second Place: A two week feature in my journal or a request by me.
Third Place: A request by me, of one character with a simple background

The Deadline

The deadline for both contests will be September 30th. I may make exceptions, however let's face it, people, Three months is a pretty long time. Don't dawdle if you want to participate!
